AroundtheArea.com CONTEST RULES

Please read these rules before entering any of the AroundtheArea.com Online Contests ("Contests"). By entering any of our Contests, you agree to be bound by these rules and acknowledge that you satisfy all Contest eligibility requirements.

1. Entries: To enter, click on the Enter Now! button on any AroundtheArea.com contest page. Only one entry per person, per day allowed ("one person" means one individual, regardless of the number of e-mail addresses that person maintains). Entries are limited to registered Site Visitors on the AroundtheArea.com Web site. Around the Area, Inc., ("Sponsor") is not responsible for (a) late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted, or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, other computer - or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Contest disruptions, injuries, losses, or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest. Prizes will only be awarded to Contest winner.

2. Eligibility: The Contest is open only to AroundtheArea.com Web Site Visitors who have completed the online registration form and to those customers who are legal adults in their state of residence. Employees and other representatives of Sponsor and its affiliates and advisors (as well as the immediate family members of each) are not eligible to participate in any of the Contests. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where prohibited. Sponsor can accept only those entries that are completed and submitted in the format designated above.

3. Contest Period: Contest will begin at 12:01 a.m. EST on the first calendar day of each month, and will end at 11:59 p.m. EST on the last calendar day of the same month ("Contest Period"). All entries must be received during Contest Period to be eligible to win.

4. Prizes: Prizes vary for each contest and category. Prizes are not transferable and no substitution or cash exchange is permissible. Contest prizes are provided by registered businesses and not-for profit members of the AroundtheArea.com Web Site ("Site Members"). The Site Member sponsoring the contest is responsible for delivery of prize to winner. Sponsor is not responsible for contacting winner, non-delivery of prize, misrepresentation of prize or compensation in any form to the winner.  All federal, state, local taxes associated with the receipt of prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

5. Winner Selection: One (1) prize winner will be selected at random by the Contest Site Member from all eligible entries received in each category contest during the Contest Period. The drawing will be conducted electronically within the first five business day of the month following the Contest Period. The Site Member sponsor of each Contest will attempt to notify the winner of their Contest by e-mail and/or telephone within five (5) days after the first day of the month. The winner must respond to the notification within five (5) days, or he/she will forfeit the prize. If a selected winner fails to claim the prize within 10 days of notification, the winner will forfeit his or her prize. Contests are limited to one prize per winner within a 60 day period, and one prize per sponsor in a 1 year period. Limit one contest winner per household per month.

6. General Release: By entering the Contest or accepting the prize, entrants release Sponsor and its affiliated companies, as well as each of their directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agencies, from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, liabilities, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection to the Contest or with the acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.

7. Use of winner's name, likeness, etc.: Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Contest constitutes permission to use winner's name, address, likeness, and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. As a condition of being awarded the prize, the winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, and, except where prohibited by law, consent to the use of his/her name, addresses, likeness, and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation.

8. Winner's List and Official Rules: The name of the winner will be posted on Sponsor's Web site. To obtain the winner's name, send a request (along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Around the Area, Inc. 11 Plains Road, Augusta, NJ 07822). Requests must be received within sixty (60) days from the end of each Contest Period. To obtain a copy of these official rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the above address, Attn: Rules Request.

9. Miscellaneous: The Contest will be governed, construed, and interpreted under the laws of the State of New Jersey. Entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sponsor reserves the right to change these rules or cancel the Contest at any time, at its sole discretion. Entrants who violate these rules, tamper with the operation of the Contest, or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Contest, or any other entrant (in each case a determination of Sponsor's sole discretion)are subject to disqualification from the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Contest.
