Happy New Year to all of you from the AroundtheArea.com staff! We are very pleased to share with you that the site continues to grow in membership and site visitors. Many of you have found us through search engines such as Google and Yahoo. In fact, typing "things to do in Sussex County" in Google lists us as entry number three and four out of 927,000 results. However, the majority of you have indicated that you have heard about us from a friend...and that is the biggest compliment we could receive. You like what we offer, and you share it with others. Thanks - You rock!
We've got some exciting, new surprises in store for Members and Site Visitors this year. One addition, that will appear in both our newsletters as well as the home page of our web site, is a referral of a Member business by you, our Site Visitors. It works this way: you visit a business or use a service that is listed on the AroundtheArea.com web site. If you are so pleased with the service you receive that you would like to share that with others, then you can submit a referral to us. Each month a referral will be randomly selected to be highlighted on the website. If you have a favorite business that you'd like others to know about, this is the perfect opportunity to get the word out!

"I am sending this e-mail to thank you for including suggested restaurants on your website, www.aroundthearea.com. Friends of mine were trying to figure out where to take me for my birthday dinner last week and we went on your website and found Restaurant Kaya. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was nostalgic. It reminded me of one of those great restaurants that you find by accident in the City and just want to keep a secret. I truly feel that this one should not be kept a secret and should be enjoyed by as many people in Sussex County as possible. The staff was kind and courteous. I had a dessert that consisted of a Mango Mousse and fresh berries. It was delicious! So good, in fact, that I had them wrap up another to take home for a friend of mine. The staff was very accommodating and more than happy to grant my wish. My friends and I really enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning for another wonderful meal." ~ Rachel M.
