Poster Contest
in conjunction with Sussex County Money $mart Week and the
Sussex County YMCA's Healthy Kids Day (Saturday, April 17, 2010)
Cash prizes ($25, $15, $10) will be awarded for the top three winners in each of four age categories.
To celebrate Money $mart Week, the theme of the poster contest is
"I am Money $mart".
Posters should address the contest theme.

Contest Description and Rules:
- Posters must be submitted on standard 22" x 28" posterboard.
- Only one entry per child in an appropriate school grade category: Grades K to 3 and 4 to 6
- Posters must be created by the contest entrant (child) with very little, if any, adult help.
- ¨Poster contest registration forms are available at www.sussex.nj.us and www.aroundthearea.com.
- Completed registration forms and poster entries must be received by Friday, April 2, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. They can be dropped off at the Sussex County YMCA in Hardyston, the Center for Prevention and Counseling office at 61 Spring Street (3rd Floor) in Newton, the Sussex County Main Library in Frankford Twp. and all branches of Sussex Bank and Lakeland Bank.

- Judging will take place in advance of Healthy Kids Day. Contest entrants in grades K-6 and their parents are encouraged (but not required) to participate in financial education activities at Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 17, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The announcement of poster contest winners and presentation of prizes will follow from 1:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Contest entrants are encouraged (but not required) to be present at the time that winners are announced.
- At the conclusion of the contest, all posters will become the property of the Sussex County Money $mart Week committee and selected posters may be published at a later date.
- Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each of the four age categories.
