  • Andover Borough
  • Andover Township - With its rural character, beautiful lakes and golf courses, recreational activities, and excellent schools, situated in a small town atmosphere, Andover Township is one of the most popular communities in Northern New Jersey.
  • Branchville Borough
  • Byram Township - Byram Township is located in Northern New Jersey in Sussex County. Byram is known as "The Township of Lakes", having more than two dozen lakes and ponds.
  • Frankford Township - Geographically located in the center of Sussex County, Frankford Township encompasses 34.8 square miles of scenic land. Culver Lake and Lake Owassa, two natural lakes nestled below the Kittatinny Mountain, form the border on the north end. Ross' Corner, the very busy intersection of Routes 206, 15 and 565 has views of the mountain from the southern entrance to the township.
  • Franklin Borough - Franklin, known as the Fluorescent Mineral Capital of the World, is located over a rich ore body containing more than 150 minerals, many of them fluorescent and 25 of which are found no where else on earth.
  • Fredon Township - Fredon Township is located in the southwest part of Sussex County, New Jersey.
  • Green Township - The township was named after Ephraim Green, who settled near Greendell in 1770. Many sections of Green retain their identity as Tranquility, Huntsville, Greendell, and Yellow Frame.
  • Hamburg Borough
  • Hampton Township - Hampton Township, established in 1864,is a picturesque community in the northwest portion of Sussex County. Three centuries of growth and change have transformed Hampton Township from a wilderness into a thriving community, with a modern commercial corridor surrounded by rural neighborhoods that remain a haven for residents and tourist alike. Swartswood State Park and the Paulinskill Valley Trail are just a few of the opportunites that exist for the enjoyment of recreation and relaxation within Hampton Township.
  • Hardyston Township - Ideally located in the northwestern corner of New Jersey, Hardyston serves as the "Gateway To Sussex County".
  • Hopatcong Borough - The history of the Borough of Hopatcong parallels the history of the Lake from its emergence as a great hotel resort, to its evolution into a summer community similar to the Jersey shore, and its eventual transformation into an all year round community.

  • Sussex Borough - Sussex Borough was settled by Peter Decker in approximately 1742. It was incorporated from Wantage Township as the Borough of Deckertown on October 15, 1891. The name was changed to Sussex Borough on March 2, 1902.
  • Sussex County Clerk - The office of the County Clerk, anciently known as "Keeper of the Records," is probably one of the first and oldest offices in the State.
  • Sussex County Division of Community and Youth Services - To improve the quality of life of Sussex County residents through an integrated approach to comprehensive services that meets the needs of individuals, families, and communities.
  • Town of Newton - The Town of Newton is located in the Northwest Skylands region of the State of New Jersey in rural Sussex County. The Town of Newton is located approximately 60 miles Northwest of New York City and 70 miles North of Trenton, New Jersey. Incorporated in 1864, the Town of Newton is the County Seat for Sussex County and enjoys a rich historic heritage dating back to 1751.
