Salt Gastropub was recently opened by Bradley & Laurie Boyle in Byram, NJ. Bradley & Laurie previously owned Bula World Cuisine in Newton. Salt's kitchen is run by Anthony Mandeville, who helped the Boyles open Salt. Salt Gastropub is New Jersey's first Gastropub! The term, Gastropub, simply means a community gathering spot with a pub-like setting, serving upscale menu items. The restaurant offers 60+ beers. Regulars rave about the food menu, especially the fish n chips and the daily specials from the kitchen. The establishment offers live music every weekend and a variety of events during the week.
